Founder & Executive Director:
Marjorie Henriquez is the founder of Brooklyn Teens Lounge in Hamilton, NJ. She is a proud Brooklyn native and the child of two Haitian immigrants. Her journey began in Hamilton, TWP, NJ, where she lived and built a community with her loving family as a devoted wife and mother of two teenage boys for nineteen years. Marjorie graduated from Southern New Hampshire with a master's degree in human resources management. Marjorie's passion for empowering others led to her 20-plus years of HR practices and initiatives to address unique challenges. In September 2022, she established the Brooklyn Teens Lounge (BTL), focusing on the needs of adolescents. Her efforts to help and support teens have been a source of inspiration for her. It is a testament to the power of following her dreams and using her skills and talents to impact the world positively.

We are dedicated to nurturing the holistic development of teenagers by fostering a supportive community and offering enriching programs. These programs empower teens to explore their passions and potential. Through creativity, education, and meaningful interactions, we aim to inspire confidence, cultivate leadership, and foster a sense of belonging among teens, preparing them to thrive in an ever-changing world. We empower them to embrace their individuality and equip them with the tools to flourish. Teenagers are valued and encouraged to journey toward a bright and promising future in Brooklyn Teens Lounge.
